What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking for a dedicated and child – centred teacher for a KS1 or possibly KS2 position within our flourishing Federation of Schools.
Above all else we are keen to speak to teachers who are passionate about their career and who hold their children’s well-being at the heart of their practice.

Our teachersenjoy a high level of autonomy over how they teach their children and the design of their provision. We feel that teachers thrive in an environment where they can have ownership over what they deliver and that they are best placed to know the children that they are teaching. Our Teaching and Learning lead works closely with individuals to provide coaching support, and we work in teams to help develop highly effective practice.
Under the Federation, each school remains separate but works together under a single Governing Body and an Executive Head Teacher - Mrs. Macey. Each school retains its unique character, and both Broughton and West Tytherley pride themselves on their caring, small-school approach where children are known and valued as individuals. The federation provides a friendly and forward-thinking environment to work in and we offer an excellent induction and professional development opportunities beyond those available to individual village schools
Both our schools are set in beautiful countryside, and our outdoor offerand opportunities for child led learning are key element of the KS1 practice and children get to particiapte in forest school all the way through to the end of KS2.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join The Federation of Broughton and West Tytherley Primary schools. Our federation is made up of two, charming village schools which have both recently received ‘Good’ grades from Ofsted. We are a forward looking federation that understands that good quality education comes from good quality teaching and we strive to ensure that all our teachers are supported to reach their potential. We offer a broad and balanced curriculum and are firmly committed to achieving excellent outcomes for our pupils. We are extremely proud of our achievements but are also committed to on-going improvements. The federation provides a friendly and forward thinking environment to work in and we offer an excellent induction and professional development opportunities beyond those available to individual village schools.
