THE FLYING HIGH ACADEMY LADYBROOK
KS1 Class Teacher and Early Reading Lead (commencing 31.08.21)
Pay Range: MPR4 to MPR6 + TLR
We are seeking an excellent class teacher who can:
Ensure the individual needs of the pupils are met through scaffolding and challenge, allowing for the highest standards to be achieved by all
Build positive and supportive relationships with all children in order to maintain excellent standards in behaviour, in line with the school’s behaviour policy
Actively and enthusiastically take part in professional development, sharing expertise and experiences as required
Take an active role as a subject leader, demonstrating passion for the subject
Work alongside other members of staff to review and innovate the curriculum
Work co-operatively as part of a team with evidence of being able to motivate and develop others
Interact with data outcomes in order to identify areas for development and plan strategies to close gaps in progress and attainment
Create a stimulating, organised, interactive and informative learning environment that encourages each child to achieve his/her potential and encourages learning for memory
Be organised & timely in meeting deadlines
Have a positive outlook on school life
Develop positive relationships with parents, staff and children
Be enthusiastic, energetic & passionate

As Early Reading Lead: high quality and comprehensive CPD as a partner school in the English Hub, professional support and guidance from the English Hub and our experienced English Lead, the opportunity to have a significant impact on the progress of our children and the professional development of our staff from F1 to Y2.
