Message from the Head of School

Welcome to Highcliffe Primary School. Highcliffe is a friendly, ambitious and visionary school that has the children and their families at the heart of everything we do.

We are proud to be part of the Lionheart Educational Trust and work very closely with our other trust primary schools; Riverside Primary, Hallam Fields Primary, Brocks Hill Primary and Broom Leys Primary. Together, we work tirelessly to ensure that our primary schools provide the highest quality education both academically and holistically.

Our Trust vision of ‘ANY young person from ANY background deserves an EQUAL chance to be successful in whatever they do’ permeates throughout our school. This vision sits alongside the 6Rs; Respect, Responsibility, Resourcefulness, Resilience, Reflection and Reciprocity. We aim to develop self-directed, inquisitive and brave individuals who want to reach their full potential with a life-long love for learning.

In order for children to reach their full potential, they need to feel confident, safe and nurtured. Wellbeing is at the heart of our school. We champion every child to achieve their very best. We offer a wide range of nurture-based guidance and interventions including social, emotional and mental health support for both our children and for the whole school community. The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.

We seek to constantly improve and embrace changes to ensure we deliver a creative, balanced and high-quality curriculum that is enriched by a wealth of memorable experiences. Highcliffe is a happy, kind and friendly school and I am incredibly proud to work here.

I hope that you will find our website a valuable resource and that it gives you an insight into our school. Please do not hesitate to make an appointment to meet with me and visit our wonderful school community here at Highcliffe Primary School.
