What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Class Teacher to join our team at River View Primary & Nursery School. This position is suitable for an Early Career Teacher (ECT) who is committed to providing an outstanding education for our pupils.
You will be an exceptional classroom practitioner with a strong ability to engage and inspire children in their learning. You should be a team player, collaborating with colleagues and actively contributing to the development of our curriculum and school community. Effective behaviour management skills are essential, as is the ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment. A good sense of humour will be valued as we believe that creating a fun and enjoyable atmosphere is beneficial to both students and staff. We are also looking for someone who is willing to continuously learn and grow, keeping up with the latest educational research and best practices.

These subjects are taught through themes, with a range of memorable learning activities designed to engage pupils’ attention.” This is something we are now building on after reflection during the pandemic.
Ofsted also commented on the strength of the team we have built and we are looking for teachers who are able to strengthen our team further and who are as committed to achieving high standards and meeting the needs of the individual child. We are a two-form entry school with a nursery on site.
