What skills and experience we're looking for

This is an exciting opportunity for an experieced and ambitious teacher with QTS to work in our thriving Rights Respecting School. There is the option of subject leadership for candidates who want to take on a middle leadership role.We are a growing mainstream primary school with a separate autism resource base for 30 pupils and a centre for two year olds. Netley Campus also comprises of an Adult Learning Centre, Camden’s Primary Pupil Referral Unit and an NHS Language & Communications Team.It is a vibrant learning campus and an ambitious school. We are looking to appoint the best from across the Primary range to work in our mainstream KS1 or KS2 phases.

We are looking for a candidate who:

  • has QTS
  • has at least 2 years experience of working in KS1 or KS2
  • is an excellent primary practitioner wishing to develop further
  • plans and teaches exciting and engaging lessons
  • has a desire to lead on projects/subjects
  • is passionate, creative and hard-working
  • has a good knowledge and understanding of how to support children with early language acquisition
  • is able to engage with and enthuse parents
  • has excellent organisational and digital skills

Interview Process

In order to make our recruitment process as effective as possible, we will follow the procedure outlined below:

  • Shortlist applications against the criteria
  • Interviews will occur : Week beginning 20th May 2024
  • Shortlisted candidates will be asked to teach a lesson of 40 mins
  • This will be followed by an interview with a panel
  • Candidates can bring a portfolio of evidence/project they have led on

Netley Primary School is a aspirational two form entry primary school in Camden with an autism resource base for 30 pupils and a centre for two year olds. Situated on Netley Campus we are located alongside an Adult Learning Centre, Camden’s Primary Pupil Referral Unit and an NHS Language & Communications Team.
We are a Gold UNICEF Rights Respecting school and this ethos permeates through all aspects of school life.
