Westerings Primary Academy is an incredibly popular school in a beautiful woodland setting adjoining Hockley Woods. We are innovative in our approach to teaching and learning, well known for creative use of new technologies, high quality sports provision, outdoor learning in our beautiful wooded setting and outstanding welfare, behaviour and support (Ofsted).
We are looking for a passionate and dynamic KS1 Teacher who is committed to the development of children and the school. The ideal candidate will be creative and confident in their teaching with the willingness to try new things to enhance the learning experience in their classroom.
Collaborating closely with class teachers, your responsibilities will include planning, preparing, and delivering engaging lessons tailored to meet students' diverse needs. You will be the driving force behind creating a stimulating learning environment, ensuring that every student receives the support they require to thrive academically and personally.
In addition to delivering lessons, you will be actively involved in monitoring students' progress, assessing their achievements, and keeping detailed records of their development. Your insights and reports will provide valuable feedback to teachers and parents, enabling them to make informed decisions regarding each student's educational journey.
