Maternity Cover, November 2025 to July 2026. Full time, Monday to Friday.

We’re delighted to offer an exciting opportunity to join our vibrant and successful KS1 provision in a maternity cover role. Our dedicated team of passionate and experienced teachers and support staff work collaboratively to inspire curiosity, nurture individual strengths, and foster a lifelong love of learning in every child.

In KS1, our pupils begin an exciting journey of discovery and development. Through a thoughtfully designed curriculum, they build strong foundations in English, maths, and a broad range of subjects, while also developing creativity, critical thinking, and social-emotional skills. About You

To be a good fit for this role, you will:

  • fulfil the professional responsibilities of a teacher, as set out in the School Teachers’ Pay and Conditions Document and meet the expectations set out in the Teachers’ Standards
  • inspire in pupils a love for learning, acting as a role model, and demonstrating enthusiasm in the delivery of all subject areas
  • use appropriate, high-quality teaching, expectations and classroom management strategies to encourage and motivate pupils
  • be a team player, who can plan high quality learning experiences to meet the needs of all allocated pupils in a consistent and effective way as part of the KS1 phase team.
  • uphold public trust in the profession and maintain high standards of ethics and behaviour, within and outside school
  • have proper and professional regard for the ethos, policies and practices of the school and maintain standards of attendance and punctuality
