We are seeking to appoint several Primary Teachers on a fixed term, maternity cover basis, to join our warm, supportive team at Newington Academy. Lift Newington is an exciting, caring and fun place to be. We are extremely proud of our Victorian building that has now reached the grand old age of 143! Our numbers have grown dramatically in recent years and we now have 390 pupils on roll, ranging from 3 to 11 years. We are a two form intake, with a brand new modular building enabling us to increase our PAN to 60. We offer a huge range of curriculum enhancements and educational visits, extra curricular clubs and outdoor learning in our bespoke outdoor classroom within our ‘Newington Gardens’ outdoor area.

The area around the School is currently being regenerated so it is rapidly changing - we are very excited about these changes! Lift Newington is a thriving school full of life and fantastic experiences that gives the School its unique atmosphere and place in the community.

We believe that each and every child should be inspired to find their remarkable. All learners experience an exceptional curriculum offer with excellent teaching and learning at its core.
