KS2 Class Teacher job summary

We are seeking to appoint someone who:

  • Is enthusiastic, approachable, and friendly.
  • Ensures all children feel safe, happy, and able to learn to the best of their ability and reach their potential
  • Has an understanding of the curriculum and pastoral needs of primary aged children
  • Is up to date with current research around high quality teaching
  • Has the ability to develop effective relationships with pupils, parents and external agencies
  • Is able to create a stimulating and inviting learning environment adapted to suit the needs of the pupils
  • Has the potential to lead subject/s
  • Is confident in using a range of behaviour management strategies
  • Has the ability to work effectively, flexibly and independently and above all is a committed team member
  • Is supportive of the ethos of a Church and Trust school
