St. Laurence Church of England Junior Academy is looking to appoint an experienced KS 2 class teacher. We would like to appoint an excellent classroom practitioner, who has high expectations of themselves and their pupils and has the ability to inspire, motivate and challenge pupils through quality teaching and creative learning experiences. We strive for high standards of achievement across the curriculum and the successful candidate will need to demonstrate a determination to make a difference. We are looking for someone who will value our school vision of developing the "whole child"; both academic and character.
Our school has a strong, caring Christian ethos, high expectations, hard-working children and a strong team of motivated and supportive teaching and support staff. St. Laurence Church of England Junior Academy is fully committed to the welfare of pupils and safeguarding. This post is dependent on a Disclosure Barring Service check, Health checks and satisfactory references.
The successful applicant will be required to lead at least one subject across the school, as well as a core subject. Due to this, the role will not be suitable for an ECT.
Please note that this is a fixed term contract for 1 year to be reviewed in August 2027.
