What the school offers its staff
Woodvale Primary Academy is a large 3-11 primary school located in Northampton. Our vision is - "everyone thriving" - our children, our staff and our families. We define thriving as "being the best we can be" and for all parts of our school community to thrive we must work together in partnership. We believe that if all parts of our school community thrive then everyone will be happy, motivated, growing and successful. "Everyone thriving" applies to staff as much as it applies to pupils.
For all school staff we aim to create a professional, collegiate working environment where staff are supported to be the best that they can be. We do this by working as part of Greenwood Academy Trust - this means we work with over 30 other schools who are part of our Trust, sharing expertise and developing best practice. We aim to provide appropriate training at all levels to ensure all staffs' practice develops over time. We ensure that workload and staff well-being are a priority, focusing our time and energy on things that make a difference to children's learning.
