Whitfield Aspen School require a KS2 Intervention Teacher to join our fantastic and unique school, supporting small groups of children. We are looking for a dynamic individual who will fully embrace the school’s Vision and Values of “Learning Together with Aspiration, Imagination and Determination” and who would use creativity to increase engagement and support learning.   • Have experience, understanding and an enthusiasm to meet the learning needs of all pupils in exciting, meaningful and effective ways.
  • Be committed to improving their professional learning and knowledge, through engagement with research.

  • Have high expectations and a commitment to providing stimulating learning experiences.

  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills in order to communicate effectively with children, colleagues and parents.
  • Manage behaviour effectively to ensure a good and safe learning environment
  • Adapt teaching to respond to the strengths and needs of all pupils.
  • A teacher who uses their imagination to enrich the children’s enjoyment of learning and is passionate about engaging the children in the world around them.
