Due to the promotion of one of our SLT team, an exciting opportunity has arisen at St Wilfrid’s C of E Primary School for a passionate and ambitious teacher to join our team as a Year 6 Teacher with responsibility for KS2 Phase Leadership (initially UKS2) and either English or Maths across the school.

This role presents a unique opportunity to join St Wilfrid’s at an exciting stage in its development. The KS2 Phase Leader aspect of the role is new to the school, meaning the successful candidate will have the opportunity to help shape and develop leadership structures within Key Stage 2, working closely with other senior leaders to make a lasting impact.

We welcome applications from experienced Year 6 teachers, who are strong classroom practitioners looking to take the next step into leadership.

We warmly welcome prospective candidates to visit the school. However, as this vacancy has arisen later in the academic year and the application window is shorter than usual, we understand that arranging a visit may not always be possible.

We are therefore also very happy to arrange an informal phone conversation with a member of the leadership team for candidates who would like to find out more about the role, the school and the opportunities available.
