KS2 teacher (Year 3) required for one term initially (Summer term 2026)
Toftwood Infant and Junior School Federation are looking for a full time temporary teacher initially starting for the Summer term 2026. This could be extended if a further vacancy arose within the federation
We work together as one large three form entry primary school.
This gives you:
- A large base of fellow professionals to work with

- Working in an established and supportive team of teachers across three classes with high quality TA support
We are looking for an excellent and enthusiastic teacher who enjoys working as part of a team for the benefit of our children to join our federation. Newly qualified or experienced applicants welcome, and we have an excellent support package and programme for ECTs. We are located in the centre of Norfolk, just off the A47, giving easy access from a range of locations.
The successful candidate must:
- Have successful experience of teaching in the primary phase, either in their teaching career or placements
- Have a proven track record of high quality teaching and learning
- Put the child at the heart of their work, working with the team to ensure all children have an enjoyable, memorable and successful school experience
- Have excellent organisational skills, in the classroom and with their own work
- Be a team player – we are a large federation and have a wealth of ideas and expertise, and we look forward to welcoming new teachers who can also contribute to our work and our focus on the children
- Have a commitment to personal professional development and a desire to progress and learn more in their own career and share their expertise with others for the benefit of all of our children
