What skills and experience we're looking for

Curledge Street Academy are looking for a passionate and motivated classroom teacher to join the Team.

We are looking for an inspiring qualified classroom teacher who is able to use a range of teaching styles and appropriate strategies to meet the needs of all children. You will have high expectations for the children’s outcomes and be creative and passionate about children’s learning.

You will be willing to join us in our aim to empower all children to achieve their personal best; creating an environment which enables children to have a flying start to lifelong learning. At Curledge Street Academy we are proud to be a school that strives for our children to be resilient and confident individuals, with an ability to relate to others and communicate their thoughts and ideas with humility and understanding.

As part of the Thinking Schools Academy Trust, we offer incredible opportunities for professional development and career growth, ensuring our staff are supported to succeed. This role will be part of a job-share team and therefore we are seeking someone with excellent communication and collaboration skills.

We actively encourage visits to the school, and these can be booked by contacting the school office.

We welcome applications from ECTs and provide a supportive environment with experienced mentors and staff on the team, who are on hand to ensure both day-to-day and longer-term support for your progression.

This is offered on a Fixed Term basis, initially for one year with the possibility to become permanent in the future.
