KS2 Teacher job summary

From 1st September 2025, we are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic, hard-working and highly motivated Full Time KS2 Teacher – Temporary for 1 year, to join our happy and successful school.
We welcome applications from ECTs and experienced teachers.
We are looking for primary practitioners who:
Are passionate about working with children as part of a successful team
Are creative and able to demonstrate a sound understanding of the national curriculum requirements.
Share the schools’ commitment to achieving the highest possible standards for all our children.
Are a standout teacher who inspires and excites young learners through innovative and engaging teaching.
Are able to support less able children, as well as children who are working at a greater depth of understanding.
Have a strong grasp of assessment processes and can use this accurately to plan ‘next steps’ in learning.
Work well in a team, can establish good relationships with children and parents and are willing to fully participate in our ‘Ladywood Learning Family’.
Can model exemplary practice in the classroom, securing excellent progress and attainment?
Is a team player, committed to collaboration and continuous professional development.
Is a positive and adaptable individual who embraces change and new ideas.
