What skills and experience we're looking for
Middlestown Primary Academy are seeking to appoint an innovative Key Stage 2 Teacher to deliver engaging lessons to a Year 5 class on a part time, temporary basis. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a forward-thinking, ambitious team in a welcoming, friendly school.
The role is being offered flexibly and we are open to candidates wanting to work 1, 1.5 or 2 days. The position is temporary for up to one year to cover maternity leave.
You will need to demonstrate consistently good or better teaching, motivate and inspire pupils whilst setting high expectations. We would encourage the successful candidate to play an active role in the wider part of the school where they will be supported by a team of friendly staff and lovely children.
The successful candidate should be hard working, with the ability to work effectively in collaboration with their designated year group partner and other designated class teachers.
Applications are welcomed from teachers across the experience range. We offer an extensive programme of academy and Trust professional development to ensure all colleagues continue to develop as practitioners and have opportunities to work collaboratively across subjects and across academies within our Trust.
