We are looking for an experienced and inspiring key stage 2 teaching assistant to join our team on the school improvement journey. This person will also hold the role of MSA and be involved with an experienced MSA team. Hours of work 8.45am – 3.15pm, and 30 mins MSA duty, Monday to Friday.
We are looking for someone who:
- is reliable, hardworking and experienced in supporting KS2 children in their learning
- is able to support children with additional needs, supporting learners in class who have
- an Educational Health Care Plan (EHCP)
- is able to quickly establish positive relationships with children, built on mutual respect
- has a strong understanding of how to encourage independent learning
- has high expectations of behaviour
- is able to support KS1 and 2 children at lunchtimes
- has good Literacy and Numeracy skills to GCSE standard
- is willing to contribute to the wider community of the school
