About Us
Our specialist school is a calm, nurturing, and joyful place where learners with neurodiversity and SEMH are supported to feel safe, understood, and successful.
We believe:
- Small classes create big change
- Relationships come before results
- Every young person deserves a champion, to feel safe and have hope

The Role
We are seeking a warm, committed, and inspirational KS3 teacher
You will:
- Change Lives Daily: Your work will directly shape the futures and wellbeing of young people, providing them with the environment they need to thrive.
- Bring Learning to Life: Facilitate dynamic education both inside and outside of the classroom, helping learners experience tangible success within their community.
- Build Relationships: Cultivate strong, positive relationships with learners, families, and colleagues, fostering a truly supportive community.
- Prioritize Safeguarding: Take full responsibility for the safeguarding and welfare of every learner, ensuring a secure and protective environment is our constant standard.
- Be a Valued Voice: Work in an organization where your input is valued, ensuring every decision puts the learners first.
This is a role for someone who understands that behaviour is communication, and that progress sometimes looks like trust, regulation, and smiles before data.
Who We’re Looking For
You might be perfect for this role if you:
- Are an experienced and reflective educator with an understanding of SEND and trauma, from a mainstream or Specialist school background.
- Believe deeply in transforming the lives of vulnerable learners
- Are calm, consistent, and emotionally intelligent
- Can balance warmth with high expectations
- Thrive in a small-school, big-heart environment
- Enjoy working with a team that is a little bit quirky, very supportive, and completely committed
What We Offer
- Small class sizes and individualised learning
- A genuinely happy, supportive, and fun working environment
- Space to innovate, lead, and make real impact
- A school culture that prioritises staff wellbeing as much as student wellbeing
- The chance to do work that truly matters - every single day
Ready to Make a Difference?
If you’re ready to teach with purpose, help young people rediscover trust in education, and be part of something special by the sea, we would love to hear from you.
Come and help us change lives - one relationship at a time.
