What skills and experience we're looking for
In this role, you will:
- Lead the KS3 Inclusion Team: Manage a dedicated Inclusion Assistant to focus on learner provision and outcomes.
- Champion EHCPs: Lead the Annual Review process for all pupils within your Key Stage and monitor progress toward individual interim targets.
- Collaborate and Mentor: Act as a role model for outstanding practice, helping other teachers and staff adapt their delivery to meet diverse needs.
- Identify and Solve: Work with internal and external professionals to identify unmet needs and implement strategies for improvement.
- Support School-Wide Practice: Liaise with Curriculum Leads, DSLs, and the Senior Leadership Team to ensure inclusive approaches are embedded throughout the entire school.
You will be:
- A professional with a strong understanding of SEN and inclusive practices.
- An expert communicator who can partner with parents, carers, and external agencies.
- A data-informed leader who can monitor achievement targets and evaluate the impact of teaching on student progress.
- A proactive team player dedicated to maintaining the school’s nurturing ethos and identity.
