KS3 Lead - Science job summary

We require a well-qualified and enthusiastic person to join our dedicated, friendly and hardworking Science team in September 2019.
Arrow Vale received an ‘Outstanding’ grade in all categories from OfSTED in November 2018 and we are a designated National Teaching School and National Support School. We work in full partnership with our neighbouring feeder middle school, Ipsley CE RSA Academy, to offer a seamless secondary curriculum and learning experience across both schools. Ipsley is an oversubscribed school of over 600 pupils, with discrete primary and secondary phases. Secondary subject teams include teachers from both schools. This post would be based at Ipsley, responsible for Key Stage 3 science leadership.
Applications are welcomed from excellent practitioners who possess the necessary drive and commitment to work with pupils and contribute to the continued improvement of the schools; however, potential is as important as experience and this post would make an ideal first leadership role for an ambitious colleague. In return there will be clear opportunities for personal and professional development.
Interested candidates who wish to have an informal conversation about this role are welcome to contact Nic Beech, Principal at Ipsley.
For an application pack, please email vacancies@arrowvaleacademy.co.uk. Alternatively, the information is available to download from our websites: www.arrowvaleacademy.co.uk and www.ipsleyacademy.co.uk
