KS4 Mathematics Co-ordinator job summary

We are looking to appoint a dynamic and highly motivated Teacher of Mathematics to teach at KS3/4 and/or KS5. As a skilled and aspirant teacher, you will be committed to academic excellence and high classroom standards. Our aim is that every learner gains enjoyment from their study of Maths and will become fluent in the Maths skills necessary for life. The lessons we teach are dynamic, varied and interesting, with all learners being challenged in a supportive environment. Teachers individualize their own lessons within the curriculum strand being taught and are encouraged to share best practice with others within the department. Mathematics is an extremely popular and successful at both KS4 and KS5. At KS5 we have over 200 students who study A level Mathematics, Further A level Mathematics or level 3 Core Mathematics with results in these subjects consistently above the national average. Many students continue to study Mathematics or related subjects at University. The successful candidates must be able to inspire learners’ enthusiasm for learning and demonstrate a commitment to continually develop their own knowledge and skills.
