KS4 Mathematics Coordinator job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated, energetic and innovative individual to take on the role of KS4 Coordinator in our Maths department. If you have a passion for demonstrating the wonders of Maths to young people, and a commitment to work with all ages and abilities, we would like to hear from you. You will be an outstanding practitioner with a past record of high performance linked to students’ learning, standards and progress.
This position requires a dedicated Maths teacher with passion and drive, who is determined that every student will achieve their full potential.
This comes at an exciting time within our development of Washwood Heath Multi Academy Trust, a family of 7 schools (one all-through, two secondaries and four primaries) serving the East of Birmingham. We believe that we are stronger working in partnership to serve the children and families of our community.
The successful candidates will:

- Set themselves and their students high standards and have high expectations.
- Be a good communicator and a strong team player.
- Have a willingness to contribute to the department and whole school projects, including the extracurricular life of the Academy.
- Have a thorough knowledge of present curriculum developments, particularly those relating to Maths
