L2 Teaching Assistant job summary
The Governors of Totley All Saints Church of England Primary School are looking to appoint a Part Time Level 2 Teaching Assistant to work in Y5 to support pupils’ learning as well as children’s play at lunchtimes as a Lunchtime Supervisor. The post is part time to work Monday to Friday mornings (8:30am-12:00am) & then 12:00-1:05am to cover lunchtimes.

The successful candidate must have high expectations, a commitment to supporting the progress for all learners, excellent interpersonal skills which motivate & inspire children to achieve their very best, effective communication skills & the ability to work in partnership with all members of the school community. Although not essential, experience of working with children in Y5 would be a real advantage as would leading play. Additionally, our new TA must have a strong commitment supporting the class teacher to achieve the best possible outcomes. These attributes alongside having a great sense of humour are all essential attributes for this role!
Totley All Saints is totally committed towards child safety & therefore, the successful candidate will be required to complete a Disclosure & Barring Service Check to ensure their suitability to work with children as well as have a strong commitment & knowledge of Safeguarding. We would also stipulate that candidates read our Safeguarding Policy before attending interview.
