Rainbow Forge Primary Academy is seeking a dedicated and skilled Teaching Assistant (Level 3) to join our supportive and forward-thinking team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a vibrant school where every child is valued and encouraged to achieve their full potential.
About the Role:
As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Work closely with pupils to support both academic and social development.
- Recognise and respond to individual pupil needs to promote inclusion and engagement.
- Deliver and review learning activities for individuals and small groups under the guidance of a qualified teacher.
- Provide short-term class cover (including PPA), without responsibility for planning and assessment.
- Support the implementation of the National Curriculum and the school’s educational programmes.
- Encourage pupils to become independent learners and help raise achievement across the school.
You will also play a vital role in promoting and safeguarding the welfare of pupils in line with school policies and statutory guidance.
What We’re Looking For:
- A committed and enthusiastic individual with relevant Level 3 qualifications.
- Experience of working with children in a primary setting.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Someone who is proactive, patient, and passionate about helping children succeed.
Please note: This role also includes a wraparound care element, increasing the total hours from 32.5 to 37 hours per week. Wraparound care may include breakfast and/or after-school club duties, depending on the needs of the school.

Rainbow Forge Primary Academy is a larger than average sized primary school with approximately 360 children on role. We offer a nurturing, caring learning environment for children aged 2-11 years.
Our Nursery provision is divided into three separate rooms based on age and stage of development with each having its own specifically designed outdoor learning area. On leaving nursery children enter the reception class which also has its own specially designed outdoor learning area and dining room.
We offer a before and after school club for all children aged 2 -11 years in two separate spaces for the younger and older children.
We are fortunate to have extensive outside areas where children can safely learn and play. Other facilities include a gym, art studio, library equipped with computers, laptops and i-pads, a separate dining hall and an assembly hall with a stage equipped with a sound and lighting rig.
