The First Federation Trust is seeking to appoint a Head of School for Lady Seaward’s C of E Primary (NOR: 106 ; Age range 2-11). The First Federation Trust is a family of 29 schools spanning across Devon, Dorset and Plymouth. They range from a one class village schools, to larger coastal town schools and include a mix of church and community schools. This is an exciting time to join a great school following a very successful Ofsted Inspection and SIAMS visits and lead the next phase of the schools’ development.
Lady Seaward’s Primary is located in Clyst St George on the outskirts of Exeter within easy reach of Exeter, the M5, Exmouth and surrounding towns and villages. The school provides a secure, nurturing and challenging learning environment with a family atmosphere, where the children come first and has an excellent partnership with parents/carers and the local community.
The Head of School is the educational leader of the school whose core focus is the quality of teaching and learning and works within a highly supportive trust leadership structure.
You would be working alongside a wonderful small team of supportive staff with strong links through the Trust where there is continual collaboration linked to teaching and learning and school improvement.
We are looking for an exceptional teacher and leader with a real desire to be involved in school improvement; someone who wants to make a difference for children, hone and develop their leadership skills and work in a distributed leadership system. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a high performing Multi Academy Trust.
