Millennium Primary School is seeking a dedicated LARP Teacher to lead high-quality provision within our Local Authority Resourced Provision (LARP), supporting pupils with special educational needs to thrive both within the provision and across the wider school community. All candidates must have experience teaching in a specialist provision.

About The Role
This is a rewarding and impactful role where you will lead teaching and learning within the LARP, ensuring pupils receive tailored, high-quality provision that meets their individual needs.
In this role, you will:
Plan and deliver personalised, engaging learning for pupils within the LARP
Adapt the curriculum to meet a range of additional needs, including communication and interaction needs
Support pupils’ integration into mainstream classes where appropriate
Work closely with class teachers to promote inclusive practice across the school
Use assessment effectively to track progress and inform next steps
Lead and support support staff working within the provision
Build strong relationships with families, external professionals and the wider school team
Promote independence, confidence and emotional wellbeing in all pupils
You will play a key role in ensuring that inclusion is embedded across the school and that every child feels valued and supported.
Who You Are
We are looking for a teacher who:
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Has experience working with pupils with SEND
Must have experience working in a specialist provision
Has a strong understanding of inclusive teaching strategies and adaptive practice
Is confident in planning personalised learning and using assessment effectively
Is patient, nurturing and committed to supporting every child to succeed
Builds strong relationships with pupils, families and colleagues
Is reflective, resilient and committed to ongoing professional development
