APPLICATIONS ARE INVITED FOR THE POST OF LAY CHAPLAIN AT ST THOMAS MORE CATHOLIC HIGH SCHOOL (part of Bishop Bewick Catholic Education Trust)

Salary: BB06 £31,586 – £34,314 per annum pro rata, actual £27,121 to £29,464 per annum

Hours: 37 hours per week Term Time plus 5 Additional Days as confirmed by the school

We wish to appoint as lay chaplain a practising Catholic with the appropriate skills and personal qualities to work with all members of our school community, supporting us in our journey of faith and helping us to put our mission statement into practice in our Work, Worship and Relationships. 

St Thomas More is an oversubscribed school, has an excellent reputation and is recognised for the quality of education, achievement, and our commitment to developing people at all levels.  It serves the whole of North Tyneside and the Tynemouth Priory Partnership and has a strong, genuinely comprehensive intake. 

We are seeking to appoint someone to build on existing practice, to bring new ideas and approaches, and to help define and develop the role to meet the needs of our school community.
