LCU Pastoral Manager job summary
Goldwyn School is seeking to appoint an LCU Pastoral Manager who can make a strong contribution as part of our team supporting students’ pastoral, behavioural and welfare needs across the school. Duties will include assisting in the smooth running of the school day and dealing with pastoral, behaviour and welfare issues as well as contributing to our curriculum enrichment programme and supporting students in the class. Flexibility, resilience and a sense of humour are important characteristics alongside excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
As a Pastoral Manager, you will provide a vital link between families, the school and other partnership agencies. You will work creatively to provide and co-ordinate a range of support to remove barriers to learning and improve outcomes for our young people. The successful candidate will also address concerns relating to student attendance.
The successful candidate must have experience of supporting individuals and groups of students along with high levels of written and verbal communication, organisational and administrative skills.
All our students have an Education, Health and Care Plan in place and a range of needs including Social, Emotional & Mental Health difficulties, Autistic Spectrum Disorder and ADHD.
