What skills and experience we're looking for
Who we’re looking for
We are looking for experienced senior leaders with the ability and experience to support headteachers, induction tutors and ECTs with the induction assessment process. You will play a crucial role in ensuring schools are compliant with DfE guidance and ECTs are given a fair and consistent induction. This will include visiting schools, reviewing assessment procedures and processing formal assessments and progress reviews. The position requires an individual who has excellent working knowledge of the DfE’s induction assessment guidance and Early Careers Framework and can communicate effectively with headteachers, induction tutors and ECTs. You will have a track record of supporting colleagues to improve their teaching practice and you will be proficient in providing actionable developmental feedback.
You will have:
- Credibility as an experienced and successful school senior leader with a demonstrable track record of success.
- The ability to work with school senior leaders across the sector.
- An understanding of ITT.
- The ability to work as a system leader across schools and with ITT providers.
- A comprehensive knowledge of pedagogical techniques and evidence-informed practice.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Full commitment to our vision and values.
