Gateway Central Services is seeking to appoint a Lead Chef to join our passionate and enthusiastic in-house catering team at Foundry Lane Primary School in producing high quality and healthy meals for breakfast, snack time, lunch and the occasional function.
The successful candidate will:
- Have a minimum of 2 years chef experience;
- Be passionate about creating and serving delicious and nutritious meals to students, staff, and visitors;
- Encourage and promote healthy eating habits and lifestyles;
- Prepare various ingredients such as meats and vegetables;
- Maintain a safe and hygienic kitchen environment;
- Clean up and sanitise the kitchen area after cooking each meal and at the end of the shift;
- Work collaboratively with all members of the Gateway Central Services;
- Be enthusiastic about their own professional development and growth.
