Lead for Religious Studies with TLR 2.1 job summary
We are seeking to appoint an ambitious and highly effective subject lead in department to support the Head of Faculty. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and inspiring subject specialist, to lead on identified roles within the department; the successful applicant will be responsible for leading and teaching Religious Studies across all key stages. You will be an excellent teacher with leadership experience and the ability to challenge individuals whilst supporting them to achieve outstanding results.
Our single goal is ‘Students First’ and you will be joining a strong team of professionals working to this sole aim. We are right at the forefront in terms of ensuring students are taught for deep understanding, and in enabling every student to leave school with qualifications that opens doors for them. We have a curriculum that allows for this and the training and support for teachers to feel confident to facilitate this for all.
An excellent knowledge and understanding of the subject is essential as is a passion for Religious Studies. You must possess the skills and determination to make a significant difference to the lives of our students and share our single goal of ‘students first; raising standards and transforming lives’. Your relentless drive will ensure our students gain the best possible outcomes. Applications are invited from both newly qualified and experienced professionals.
