Lead Intervention Teaching Assistant job summary

This role involves:

  • Modelling effective intervention implementation
  • Screening and assessment of children to gauge their stage in learning as well as identifying gaps
  • Monitoring and evaluating the success of interventions
  • Planning and leading CPD for the Teaching Assistant Team
  • Communicating with SENDCo, SLT, families and teaching staff
  • Supporting with adaptation of resources to enable access to quality first teaching
