Lead Practitioner - Assessment and Achievement job summary

Impact Education Multi Academy Trust is seeking an exceptional practitioner to take on the role of Lead Practitioner for Assessment and Achievement. This is a unique opportunity to work across our Trust while maintaining a teaching commitment at Lee Mount Academy (Year 6), driving improvements in teaching, learning and outcomes for pupils.

This role has been created as part of our continued growth and ambition to secure consistently high standards across all our academies. You will play a key role in shaping assessment practice, supporting colleagues and ensuring that all pupils, particularly the most disadvantaged, achieve highly.

As a Lead Practitioner, you will:

  • Lead and develop high-quality assessment practice across the Trust
  • Drive improvements in pupil achievement through effective use of data and assessment
  • Model outstanding teaching and provide coaching and mentoring to colleagues
  • Work with leaders to quality assure teaching, curriculum and outcomes
  • Design and deliver impactful professional development
  • Contribute to curriculum refinement to ensure it is ambitious, inclusive and effective

You will also teach a Year 6 class at Lee Mount Academy and contribute to the wider leadership of the school.
