Further details about the role
This role is critical to the continuing progress of the academy. It is essential to how we will achieve the highest standard of learning and teaching in every classroom and therefore it is reliant on the Lead Practitioner to consistently demonstrate outstanding teaching in their own classroom.
The Lead Practitioner will do everything possible to raise the quality of teaching and learning across the maths department and directly with the people they coach and mentor. This will be achieved through individual coaching, delivering inset or modelling, as required.
The post holder will maintain a teaching time table modelling outstanding practice in terms of classroom teaching, preparation, marking and assessment.

Our academy has been offering excellent opportunities for local children since opening in September 2013, when we welcomed our first cohort of scholars. We then moved into our wonderful new building in January 2014.
