Lead Practitioner/ Excellent Teacher of Mathematics

We are looking for a talented and inspirational leader to play a pivotal role in in our journey from ‘good’ to ‘outstanding.’ Our Lead Practitioner will be a role model of excellence for other staff, and will also take a whole school leadership role. The ideal candidate is an outstanding teacher of Mathematics who has a background of improving achievement and developing teaching and learning skills in others.
Carnforth High School is a small, community 11-18 school bordering the Lake District. We are a good school with outstanding features in Leadership and Management and Behaviour and Safety. Applicants are warmly encouraged to visit the school, or contact the Headteacher for an informal conversation.
