Lead Practitioner – Research and Innovation (Special/AP Hub) job summary
With a focus specifically across Special/AP Hub development:
Blended role with split of responsibilities - 80% teaching load and 20% Trust work.
Supporting the design, co-ordination and embedding of the Trust’s professional development programmes. This will involve helping to ensure all colleagues have access to high quality continuous professional learning, development, and career differentiated pathways.
Supporting, coaching and mentoring colleagues to develop their practice.
To make a significant contribution to developing a model of cutting-edge educational research-informed thinking and learning, to disseminate expertise and best practice, working with local school leaders and CPD Leads to ensure CPD remains current, innovative and outwardly facing.
As a Lead Practitioner, to teach at Special/AP school(s) within the Trust where experience and expertise models best practice, offering effective support to local leadership and colleagues.
