Lead Practitioner SEND job summary

An exciting opportunity to work with our amazing children to provide a stimulating environment and a curriculum that is fit for purpose to ensure our children make accelerate progress.

The role involves working closely with pupils, staff, and families to promote positive behaviour, engagement in learning, and successful reintegration into mainstream where appropriate.

Overview

- Write planning to meet the needs of the children.

- Provide tailored support to pupils with SEND needs.

- Work collaboratively with the SENDCo and wider inclusion team

- Support pupils in developing social and emotional skills.

- Implement individual support plans and behaviour strategies.

- Maintain accurate records and contribute to reviews and assessments.

- Liaise with parents, carers, and external agencies as required.
