What skills and experience we're looking for

Following a review of our Learning Support Department, we are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, committed and talented teacher to lead and manage our learning hub resource. The successful candidate will be an excellent practitioner with a proven track record of inclusive classroom practice.

The Learning Hub is a base in school utilised for a variety of reasons to support students integrate into school life. Students are generally placed in the learning hub for a short term placement, the reasons have included: students with an injury which prevents them from accessing the curriculum, students with significant language barriers to accessing a full curriculum, or for students where an adapted curriculum in a small group environment will support their emotional or learning needs. The learning hub is staffed full time by a member of our learning support team; this role is to have oversight of the provision and to develop the provision moving forward.

We are looking for an emerging leader with a pro-active approach, excellent communication skills and a passion for supporting young people.
