Lead Teacher of Geography job summary

We are seeking an inspirational and committed Lead Teacher of Geography to play a key role in shaping and driving excellence within our Geography department. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious practitioner who is passionate about their subject and eager to make a lasting impact on students’ learning and outcomes.

You will lead by example in the classroom, delivering engaging and intellectually stimulating lessons that inspire curiosity about the world and develop students’ geographical knowledge and skills. Alongside this, you will contribute to strategic departmental planning and support the development of rich extra-curricular and enrichment opportunities that bring Geography to life beyond the classroom.

As part of a dynamic Trust, you will benefit from meaningful collaboration with Geography colleagues across our schools, sharing best practice and contributing to a culture of continual improvement. High-quality professional development is a key feature of this role, supporting your ongoing growth as a teacher and leader.
