Lead Teacher of Psychology job summary

This is an exciting opportunity for an inspirational and innovative teacher with a real passion for Psychology teaching. This year we have successfully launched Psychology into our A-level curriculum. We will have two classes in both year 12 and 13 from September. This role is expected to be solely A-level teaching. We welcome applications from experienced and more recently qualified teachers. The TLR is available to experienced candidates, with a primary focus on developing Psychology within the popular and growing, Cheney School Sixth Form. You will need to demonstrate that you: - are passionate about this subject area and continuing the launch into the school; - committed to securing high levels of engagement and achievement in the subject; - want to make a positive difference by going the extra mile for the benefit of students; - have the desire and enthusiasm to play an active and collaborative role in contributing to a strong culture of sharing best practice, resources and ideas within a large Humanities team; - have the interpersonal and leadership skills required to inspire and motivate colleagues and students; - are keen and able to embed enjoyment and success in learning.
