Maternity cover - up to 12 month contract from August 2026

Whilst this is a fixed-term contract (Maternity Cover). For the right candidate, there may be the potential for extension or the opportunity to transition into a permanent role.

Overdale Infant School is seeking a passionate and committed Teacher of SEND to lead learning within our specialist provision. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).

You will manage the SEND unit to ensure high quality teaching and learning for all pupils, oversee provision for children with complex needs, and promote inclusive practice across the school. Working closely with senior leaders, colleagues, and families, you will drive improvement and ensure that every pupil achieves their full potential.

You will play a key part in delivering high quality, inclusive teaching to pupils with SEND, helping to provide a safe, nurturing, and inspiring learning environment.

About OAK Multi Academy Trust

Established in 2018, OAK Multi Academy Trust serves over 2,500 pupils and employs approximately 400 staff across south Leicestershire. We have specialist SEND provision at Overdale Infant School. You will be joining a forward thinking team dedicated to inclusion and excellence for all.
