Lead Teacher of STEM job summary
We are seeking an inspirational Science teacher and Lead teacher of STEM to join our unique, oversubscribed, all through school. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher to share their passion for learning and effectively contribute to the development of a broad an ambitious STEM curriculum across the all-through.
The successful candidate will provide opportunities for all students to engage with STEM through a suite of activities and workshops, integrate innovative teaching strategies and resources to enhance student engagement and understanding in STEM subjects and continuously review and update the curriculum to ensure it remains relevant and meets the needs of students.
We are looking for someone who will promote and lead extra curricular activities and events that generate student interest and involvement in STEM across the all-through. To establish and maintain strong partnerships with local businesses and industries related to STEM and collaborate with businesses to provide students with real-world experiences, internships and work placements.
