What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking for a Learning Assistant to join our team on a temporary contract. You will be supporting a child on a 1:1 basis so a can do approach and flexibility are attributes we are looking for.

Ideally you will be an experienced Learning Assistant with knowledge of SEND and supporting pupils with additional needs, but whatever your level of experience please use the supporting statement on the application form to show us how you match the skills we need and what you can bring to the role.

Our Learning Assistants really are valued members of our team and are expected to support the education and progress of either an assigned child who needs additional support with their learning, or in a more generalist role within a classroom.

Start Date: November 2024

FTE Salary range: £21,544 - £23,582 (Dependant upon experience)

Pro-rata (actual) Starting Salary: £16,732 (£21,544 FTE)

Hours: 8:15am-3:15pm Monday - Friday 32.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (term time +1)

Contract: Temporary
