Learning Assistant job summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic experienced Learning Assistant. The suitable candidate will have recent experience volunteering or working in a primary school setting.
The Bishop Creighton Academy, part of the Greenwood Academies Trust (GAT), is located in Peterborough. It joined the GAT in April 2015 and has a diverse and culturally rich pupil intake that has grown in recent years and shares in the Trusts vision of helping all pupils to succeed despite their background. The academy is also focused on continual professional development and is a research engaged school.
We are pioneering our teaching and learning outlook by being a 21st Century school and are proud to be a ‘Microsoft Showcase School’. Our pupils use technology for their learning, equipping them with vital skills for the future.
You will be joining an academy which plays part in a successful Multi Academy Trust with first class professional values and high standards The Bishop Creighton Academy, part of the Greenwood Academies Trust (GAT), is located in Peterborough. We have recently undergone significant work to improve the indoor learning environment, the academy now offers an attractive semi-open plan school with an attractive KS2 library, large KS1 shared area and a spacious P.E./assembly hall.
