Learning Assistant job summary

We have an exciting opportunity for Learning Assistants to join our dedicated team on a fixed term contract until the end of the academic year. You will be supporting a child on a 1:1 basis so a can do approach and flexibility are attributes we are looking for.

Our Learning Assistants really are valued members of our team and are expected to support the education and progress of either an assigned child who needs additional support with their learning, or in a more generalist role within a classroom.

What we are looking for

Ideally you will be an experienced Learning Assistant with knowledge of SEND and supporting pupils with additional needs, but whatever your level of experience please use the supporting statement on the application form to show us how you match the skills we need and what you can bring to the role.  We are looking for a candidate who will:

About the Banbury Cluster

Our School sits within a newly established cluster of Primary schools, overseen by a Regional Director. The Details

Start Date: ASAP

FTE Salary range: £22,918 - £24,653 (Dependant upon experience)

Pro-rata (actual) Starting Salary: £ 17,799 (£22,918 FTE) 

Hours: 8:15am-3:15pm Monday - Friday 32.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (term time +INSET)

Contract: Fixed term, initially for this academic year (linked to funding)

Closing Date: 7th October 2025
