🌟Join Our Science Team as a Learning Coach

Are you passionate about empowering young minds through science? We’re seeking a dedicated and empathetic Learning Coach to join our dynamic academy, working closely with the Science Department to support students with diverse learning needs, emotional and behavioural challenges, and those who may feel disengaged or isolated.

This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact by helping students thrive academically and socially—especially in the exciting world of science. You’ll collaborate with our SENDCo, Senior Leadership Team, and science educators to deliver targeted interventions and nurture student growth.

🔬What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Supporting students 1:1 and in small groups to strengthen scientific literacy, numeracy, and social skills
  • Assisting with behaviour management and emotional regulation strategies within science lessons and labs
  • Delivering personalised learning activities and nurture-based support tailored to science topics
  • Collaborating with science teachers and external professionals to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Supervising students during lunch and academy activities
  • Encouraging positive behaviour, curiosity, and conflict resolution in science learning environments
