Are you passionate about making a difference in young people’s lives?

We’re looking for a dedicated and empathetic Learning Coach to join our vibrant academy community. This is a fantastic opportunity to support students with specific learning needs, emotional and behavioural challenges, and those who may feel withdrawn or isolated. You’ll work closely with our SENDCo and Senior Leadership Team to deliver tailored interventions and help students thrive both academically and socially.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Supporting students 1:1 and in small groups to boost literacy, numeracy, and social skills
  • Assisting with behaviour management and emotional regulation strategies
  • Delivering personalised learning activities and nurture-based support
  • Collaborating with teachers and external professionals to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Supervising students during lunch and academy activities
  • Encouraging positive behaviour and conflict resolution

What we’re looking for:

  • A compassionate and resilient individual with a genuine interest in inclusive education
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust with students and families
  • Understanding of behaviour management strategies and SEND support
  • Willingness to undertake CPD and specialist training
  • A team player who contributes positively to school life and ethos

Important details:

  • £19,232 per annum
  • 2 roles available: 1 part time, 3 days a week and 1 full time, 5 days a week.
  • This is term time only role, 32.5 hours per week or 19.5 if part time. You will be required to work 8:30am – 3:30pm.
  • Permanent contract
