Salary: Ark Outside London Support Scale 6, Pay Points 12-19: £26,421 to £29,777 (pro rata)
Actual salary: £22,726.49 - £25,613.21 per annum
Hours: 36 hours per week, term time only (39 weeks per year)
Contract: Permanent

This is an opportunity to join our hard-working, dedicated team in our growing academy. As a Learning Engagement Mentor, the successful candidate will enhance student learning and progress through supporting the pastoral care of students and secure excellent behaviour in and around the academy.
We need someone who is proactive, has excellent communication skills, is experienced in establishing successful learning relationships with young people and adults and has a genuine passion for and belief in the potential of every student. The ability to remain calm and professional under pressure in a busy environment is essential.

Our School:
Ark Alexandra is a two-campus secondary academy with a Sixth Form provision in Hastings, East Sussex and is the largest secondary with 6th form in the Ark network. A popular school, we have grown to have over 1,600 students this year. We work across a split site which brings with it unique opportunities for growth and development. At our most recent Ofsted inspection in September 2021, Leadership & Management, Behaviour & Attitudes, Personal Development and Sixth Form were all judged to be Good.
