Ferndown Middle School is situated in Ferndown adjacent to Ferndown First and Ferndown Upper Schools. The school has up to 600 pupils, covering the age range 9 to 13 years old (year groups 5 to 8).

We are seeking to appoint a Learning Mentor to work 33.5, hours, Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri 8.30am – 4.00pm, Wed 8.30am – 4.30pm, term time plus 5 inset days (39 weeks).

As a Learning Mentor, you will be responsible for supervising and supporting students who are working on learning activities when their regular teacher is absent for a short or unexpected period of time. You will help them stay focused, motivated and engaged in their learning activities.
